Contribuisci feedbackFamily and I came to try a new spot and 1928 was highly recommended. Walking in its very clean with friendly staff. By far best spanish spot in Jax hands down. Empanadas are full of meat and flavor.Queso frito was bite sized fried cheese that was delicious and expect the cheese to be a nice creamy and goey flavor melting as you pull it away from your mouthRellenos are perfection in my honest opinion. Crispy outer shell and creamy potatoes and meat filled. Desayuno caballero had everything you look for in authentic cuban cuisine for flavors. We definitely will be a returning customer. Rojas FamilyKid friendliness: Perfect portions and they dont hold back in the servings
Stopped by this place yesterday and i was really happy already with the interior is so cute, and the smell of the food in the air was so welcoming. the menu is very nice and seeing queso frito on the menu was a nice addition since most cuban places don't really have that on their menus. one of the best congrís i've ever eaten after a long while of not eating it. by far one of the best cuban joints around here and i am happy i came. the pastelitos look super good and i can't wait to try, and all day breakfast, just amazing. i am definitely gonna come here often. also appreciate how clean the place is and the employees say hi to customers coming in, and are super nice. what a great impression this place left me with not just the atmosphere but the food itself was outstanding. being of cuban decent as well, im really happy i found a great spot to get my favorite cuban comfort food and it feels like home back in miami :
Really good Cuban cuisine at a reasonable price. We have done takeout twice and used the chow now to order. It was all great!!
Loved this place. Great service. Delicious food. Friendly faces. 1928 Cuban Bisteo. Highly recommend.
There is something for everyone at 1928 Cuban Bistro, especially if you don’t mind being a little adventurous. The restaurant is small, very clean and has an outside seating area. It can get busy during the lunch rush, so don’t come if you are on a tight deadline as sandwiches are made to order. If you have a few minutes, you will be treated to a nice lunch.Cuban Sandwich very traditional, but does not have the touch of sweetness I am used to in South Florida.Pan Con Bistec now this is a sandwich, pressed like a Cuban with lettuce, mayo and chimi sauce.Cuban Sloppy Joe just like a sloppy Joe, but without the tomato flavor. This was SENSATIONAL but almost too tall eat. Get this, you will not be disappointed.
