Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport/i-95n, An Ihg

This has got to be the worst Orel ever. The set up of the rooms are awful. We parked out front. Walked through the front door to the front desk only to be direct down a long hall Pat a set of elevators around the corner down the next hall way, not as long as the first, in an elevator, we went up to the fifth floor and got out to another long hall that started with rm 2523 and we were in rm 2507….s another long ballot walk down! Surely the had a room closer to the front desk! Well to add insult to injury, this is the worst room I have stayed in since the 80’s! It is so outdated, there is not a single usb or usb-c anywhere in the room. The bed is soft I am sure to wake with a back ache. The cabinet in the bathroom look like a piece of pywod that the stain has worn off, not the mention, who actually showers in a hotel room now days and having a step in bathtub is a hazard for seniors, which we are. I can honestly say, this is by far the worst and most out dated hotel and definitely needs some restructuring. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and surely won’t stay here again. Not at the airport, only semi close.

This was the best experience I've had on Jacksonville. Carolyn and Danny were the best bartenders and service ever. I will always come back to the crown plaza because of them two. I love the crown plazaFood drinks: Carolyn and Danny are the best ever!!

We arrived to find our reservation was not in the Crowne Plaza records and our reservation for which we had already paid could not be honored. The assistant manager, Ms Phelps first assured us we would have a room a room at the same rate we paid, and proceeded to locate evidence of our reservation. She went over board and finally (an hour later) located evidence on my phone to confirm we had made the reservation. She and her staff were extremely committed to making us comfortable, including giving us refreshment and vouchers for breakfast the next day. They put us in an upgrade room which was wonderful and made our visit more than satisfactory. We have already recommended to others to select the Jacksonville Airport Crowne Plaza for any visit to Jacksonville.

We were hopeful for a good stay after seeing the large, open and clean lobby. However, our room was in tower 2 which is in desperate need of renovations. The hall was dingy with dirty carpet and cracked shades over the lighting. Our room was no better. The sheets were ripped in multiple places and the mattress pad stained. Luckily we had 2 beds as one mattress was very saggy. The floor and nightstand had visible and moveable dirt and debris. Soap dish was old and chipped. Lamp shade yellowed and cracked. The air was off when we entered the room and we never did get the musty smell or the humidity out of the room while running the air. The carpet was dirty and we made sure to not go barefoot. When I checked out the next morning, I told the desk clerk that the room was horrible. Without looking up at me she simply said sorry about that and had no desire to hear why I made the comment. Super disappointed as we really needed a good night 's sleep before our long drive but we left as quickly as we could . Can 't recommend.

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for this hotel. We have flown from California because my husband’s dad has passed away unexpectedly. We did not book rooms in advance, but they still made room for us and even helped us check in a little early. I spoke with Jasmine in accounting briefly about our situation and she was so sweet and kind to us and helped me get my daughters up to our hotel room while my husband got the luggage. After a long, stressful and emotional day, we came back to the sweet letters written by the staff! Thank you so much crown plaza! I will forever to use this hotel whenever visit in Florida again.Rooms: The rooms feel very homey and comfortable. Super clean!Noteworthy details: The amazing staff extremely attentive, and worth every single penny!
