French Bistro And Pastries - Sharpes

The food was good, but the service was terrible!! Arrived to a 3/4 full restaurant. Server took my beverage order (cappuccino) right after seating me. Took about 15 minutes before serving beverage. Cappuccino was barely warm. Waited almost 30 minutes before my food order was taken! A couple came in after me. Their food and beverage order was taken in a timely manner by different server. Their food, sandwiches and salad was served before my food order was taken. My food order was finally taken. The couple finisher their food and left before I got my food order!! Sandwich and small salad. I notice a table with two couples who had already ordered. My server brought two French Onion soups to the ladies and about 15 minutes later, the gentleman were served their sandwiches. Unacceptable service!! I believe the owner of the French Bistro should question his/her desire to operate a restaurant business if this is the level of service they normally provide. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not return!

Pretty good with food. Crepe withe ham and cheese and perfect basted egg on top. Candyce had tartan with the bacon cheese bread. Bread was excellent. Note you can order a whole loaf of bacon cheese bread. $15 and 24 hour notice. Had to ask for more coffee but overall was pretty good.

My favorite breakfast spot! The food is outstanding, and they always go out of their way to take care of you during your visit. And, when your done with breakfast or lunch, prepare yourself for some of the best French pastries you’ll find in Jacksonville. Love the Bistro!

I have been coming to the French Bistro since it opened. I have never been disappointed. From petit dejuner, to running in to grab a cappuccino and pastry while at the laundromat next store; they raise the bar! But tonight was amazing. Raclette, served with meats, potatoes, bread and dessert, was wonderful. I'm grateful to have such an incredible restaurant in my neighborhood.

This is my new favorite rest! I lived in Lyon and in St. Marten and long for French food. The owner chef does a wonderful job of offering regional dishes and she is lovely! This place is quintessential French, down to earth and authentic. Jacksonville has been blessed with her presence!
