Mi Tierra Mexican Grocery - Sharpes

I had a specific craving, and had never been here before. so my boyfriend and I came i as walk ins, and wanted to place a to go order for myself. We got looks right off the bat. We walked up to the bar, because it was he only place we saw any staff, andwaited until the bartender decided to walk over. I guess it was our skin color, I'm not too sure, but she acted like she didn'twant to take the order of two white people. After telling her I wanted the fajita nachos, no tomatoes...I watch her understandand write my order down, all of a sudden she doesn't speak english when I asked if it came with sour cream because she walkedover and waved her arms around to another co worker like she was complaining about me to the other person or something. I feltvery un welcomed and very uncomfortable. After watching the staff serve everyone else that came in after us, about 40 minuteslater I finally got my food and it was mediocre to say the least. The best part of my nachos, sadly was the chips. I don't thinkI'm going to go back. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.

We were the only 2 white people and felt like we didn't belong. Food was ample and good, not great. Had the torta, with marinated pork. Better than some I've had. Bread was toasted, adding nice flavor. Out of stock of one beer on the menu. Out ofstock on dessert cake. Had to ask for glasses for our beer and coke. The glasses were non-biodegradable Styrofoam.

Very clean. First time visiting, and I was impressed with the quality and selection. Customer service was also great! I will definitely return to shop!

Food was fresh and delicious. Wait staff was very accommodating. Cleanest ladies room l have seen in years.

Bought the fried pork strips and unfortunately they were NOT fresh. Three strips thrown out because they were so hard you couldn't sink your teeth into it. Jam crammed hard to move about, claustrophobic inside.
