Jim 'n Nick 's -b-q - Sharpsburg

Arrived a 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening. Party of 4 stood in line fifteen minutes waiting to order only to find out the BBQ restaurant has no bbq! Counter attendant said they had fish and chicken tenders! An attentive manager would have signage to alert customers so they don’t waste their time. If I wanted fish I wouldn’t come here. This establishment isn’t new! Might need a New manager.

The food was good, but they lost my order with their tracking system. They need to improve their process for getting the food out to people. Good food, poor service.

Just went out of the way and sat through heavy rush hour traffic to get to Jim N’ Nicks to pick up baked potatoes. And they’re out. They’re always out. Whoever does the potato ordering: ORDER TWICE AS MANY!! They won’t go bad. You can’t have a menu item that’s only available 25% of the time.

Absolutely disgusting! I loved Jim N Nick 's when they first opened and even gave them 5 stars however I ordered about 6 months ago and all we received were plates of fat. So I decided to try them again today and we got the same results. My pork plate was nothing but fat and the portions were very small. Also got a pork salad and the pork was all fat too. I just threw all of it away. I could have spent my $50 on a steak dinner elsewhere instead of what I received today! Will never go here again!

This isn't my first visit, but I always forget to post. This time, I went through the drive thru and just got 3 lbs of ribs for dinner(had my own sides at home). They are always pretty good. I usually don't like my ribs sauced. I'm more of a dipper, but their sauce is pretty good. And their ribs are lightly sauced, not slathered with sauce dripping everywhere. The sauce is not too sweet or tangy. It pairs perfectly with the ribs, and the pickles are just the icing on the cake. Yum! I've tried the mac n cheese, collards, baked beans, and potato salad, which were all pretty good as well. But the show stopper to me are the cheese biscuits, they are so delicious! The staff is always so friendly(like they actually enjoy their jobs), and I have even had 1 or 2 encounters of getting the wrong food that was handled very professionally by management. Big shot out to assistant manager Tiffany. She is a gem, so don't let her go. If you haven't tried Jim n Nicks, give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
