Staple of quality family dinning in the Shawano area. Pancakes are the size of a tractor tire as they call them. Buyer beware, your going to have to ask for more syrup a few time!
Love the homemade soups and pies. Little partial to the skillet's as they remind me of my childhood.
Carry out order: on line menu prices are not up to date, significantly higher final bill, pan fried perch was SUPER salty, Caesar side salad had a lot of old blackended edge lettuce, croutons were soaked in oil??, asked for sour cream and butter for the baked potato, missing from bag, no napkins. What's happened to you!!!!!!!!
We used to be regulars here, but over time the quality of food and service has really gone down. Portions of hash browns are huge, but often the main platter is smaller. The prices are high for the quality, especially compared to the newer restaurants in town. There 's no internet, or cell reception if you ask you 'll get a smug we want people to be able to talk so don 't expect to be able to come here to eat and work at the same time, or be able to look anything up while you 're there. The cocktails and fish fry are also not worth your money, there are much better places to go around town. Overall, we 've started avoiding, especially because the prices are high for the service and food quality.
