It was very good...but I thought I saw that they use romaine lettuce. Turns out it was iceberg lettuce in the salad. I must 've misread the sign. They have a new soda dispenser that I was unfamiliar with on how to use. I asked the servers but not one of then came from behind the counter to help me. (I 'm a stroke victim and have problems with some newer computers! Good old ice tea was right there, tho! I opted for tea! The atmosphere was great. There was real fire equipment there provided by the owners son/Shawnee fire department. THAT IS VERY COOL!One server was very helpful when I said it was my first time there. I think she is the manager. I noticed she was training some of the others. When I 'm ready for a hot sub this fall, I will go back. I will get salads there during the summer in the meantime! The salads are worth the trip!
My wife and I stopped in here this morning to see that they opened at 1030 am today! I had the medium New York Steamer and a side salad. My wife enjoyed the Italian and a side salad. The side salads were packed with tomatos, green peppers and cucumbers on a fresh bed of lettuce. Excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The staff was very polite and friendly. We will be back. We loved the option to round up the total bill to help the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to assist First Responders.
It was delicious! The staff is very friendly. You keep the store clean. My husband found his new sandwich place!
Had an online order for the first time, so I wasn't sure where to pick up my food and didn't know that she had the food behind the counter I had no problem with. When I did not notice in anyone that I was even in the door, no one was behind the counter where they were preparing the food, so I went to the register (the only person there) to ask the girl there when my order was ready because I did not know where to pick it up again it was my first phone over order. Well, the girl in the register asked another girl when my order was ready, and I went to the end of the counter and picked it up. The girl behind the counter that gave me my order told me not to disturb people in the register and get someone near the food counter to give me next time my order. I told her when I came in, nobody was there, and she rolled her eyes on me and left. Extremely rude. If I had asked the same question again and again and again told the same answer, I can understand the frustration and even the immutation towards me. But I didn't know, because that was my first online order. And openly, the whole place was empty except that a person fills a drink. So I'm not sure what the big thing was to answer a simple question, and to give my food over nice and respectful, because it wasn't like they had a lot of guests to start you.
I remember having much more meat on my Cheddar-Bresket sandwich, everything I got was bread it seems. when I talked to the manager, he did nothing to help.
