Chicken Palace - Shawville

We just moved to Shawville April 1st and have already been here a few times . The workers are really friendly, the food is always hot and so yummy, prices are good too. We will be comming here alot . If your in town give it a try :)

Best fries, chicken & gravy.. Chicken pieces are small chicken breast are large and sometimes on the dry side.. so I go for the drum sticks or thighs.. coleslaw is yummers cant go wrong with a 3 pc meal as a treat. Not wheelchair accessible so I always send somebody to pick up. its family run and business an hours are based on busy hours. I kinda wish they were open on Sunday for lunch pick up for people to grab take out for after church.. the restaurant had 4-5 tables in the front for a few people to have lunch.

Chicken Palace is a local fast food takeout spot in Shawville Quebec, it has been through an array of owners over the past few years all who have had a different sales pitch but all ultimately failing at making it worth your time for anything rather a quick lunch. Service is local and friendly but the establishment itself feels like there is a grease film left on the tables, counters, floors etc. There food is average and probably no better then a KFC will ever be. Poutine? is more like cheese and gravy soup for it is always way over loaded with gravy. They have a snack box which is satisfactory for the dollar however and I grew up eating for my school lunch. Overall I would say your passing through or looking for a quick affordable lunch? this is your spot.

While we were in Ottawa, someone recommended SP as the top Mediterranean restaurant in the area. Since we were close to the University of Ottawa, we decided to stop by for a late lunch.
