Hursty's Bar & Grill - Shawville

We were a group of friends that decided to meet there for breakfast, everybody's plate was amazing, really delicious. My only complaint is that even if I am bilingual I like to be serve in french when in Quebec, but that was not the case for our waitress

Hursty's bar and grill is a another restaurant located on the main drag shawville Quebec. I grown up around this restaurant and must say the service and food has deteriorated over the years. Service is average, normally friendly but far from something I would write home about. the restaurant is old and warn and could use a face lift. The food is hit or miss, sometimes I get a great burger and sometimes I get a tasteless pile of what tastes like pre-prepared food. It is pricey for what it is and I would recommend other establishments before I recommend here.

The food was very greasy and the presentation isn't great (chicken Cesar wrap, Hamburger Platter). Atmosphere is dull, it seems so dark in there. It needs updating and a good cleaning. Staff doesn't seem happy to be there either.

Had a BLT and Shawville Chips (home made potato chips). Edible, but not great. The staff was friendly. $11.00 was too much for a BLT, greasy chips and a drink! The influx of cottager children running everywhere did not help the atmosphere either.
