11/15/2023 The place has changed completely with shortened hours. If you dine inside, you have to order at a kiosk. They will call your name and you need to go to the counter to get your food. Everything is self serve. There is no wait staff. At night, the outside is dark and appears to not be open (lighting not working? The Frisco Melt is excellent. Has turned into a cafeteria style restaurant where you order your food via kiosks and sit down. But I'm fine with this. Specialty burger was excellent. Fries were skinny and delicious. Both our shakes were top notch. I'll try the chili max Supreme next time. I love Cincinnati style chili. One of the absolute worst fast food experiences I've ever had! Food was edible, service was non existent (had to use self serve kiosk). The only service we received was when the girl called our order out (barely audible) and left our food unattended on the counter. Every surface in the dining room was visibly grimey. The lighting was terrible and the parking lot had trash all over. Not only will I never eat at this location again, but this location is why I'll never eat steak n shake anywhere ever again. Turn the lights off and shut it down! TERRIBLE!
