Firstly, my sister wanted to order something but the thing that she wanted was out of stock the same with other dishes. Then, when I paid by card, I saw that they put a tip in for themselves without asking me. The food was nice and came quickly. Overall the place looks okay, I could go there once but no more than that.
Here's a detailed rewrite of your Google review for Las Iguanas: I visited Las Iguanas and opted for two small starters: the Squid Sweet Chilli Popcorn and BBQ Chicken Wings. The BBQ sauce was thick, sweet, and perfectly gooey. However, the squid was disappointing—it tasted more like scampi with tartare sauce, and I couldn't detect any sweet chilli flavor. We also tried the Chili Con Carne, which had a great portion size, but it was too spicy for the missus to handle. The ended it with perfection, a churro sundae. Especially in the heat of the weather and food, great way to wash it all down.
We came in as a group of 4 for my partners birthday and our waiter Michael went above and beyond with our service. We all left laughing and smiling. Food wasn’t fantastic (you get what you pay for) but the atmosphere and staff definitely made up for it. Will definitely be returning :D
Paige at meadowhall looked after us brilliantly. Warm welcome, quick to see us about our drinks and food order. The place is well lit, great atmosphere, clean and welcoming. The food was incredibly tasty and very fresh. A slight error in another customers order delayed our drinks for a few moments, but Paige compensated us with a free drink. Not one thing to complain about. Fantastic
