JURY'S INN Slow service Cold food Expensive for the food service 3 starters arrived in 10 minute intervals Onion rings greasy and batter uncooked in places Wings arrived first, then rings and finally the mac cheese which was very good but everything else was too cold by then!

Excellent customer service from Barakat and good quality food with good portion sizes. I would definitely eat here again. Also, not many other places open at 9pm on a Sunday serving food.

Frankly I was expecting a bit better from this hotel. The best thing about the room was the view. On this side of the window however, the heating was not working. In March! In Sheffield! The grillage would only blow out cold air, so I had to use a portable heater missing a leg, and later I was given a second heater to use for the other side of the room. I was also given some guff about the heating being dependent on what people do in the other rooms, ie if they have the heating on or off! As if anyone would believe that. Just admit it’s broken. One member of staff asked me if I wanted another room, but then another said there would be no point as all the rooms have this system by which it depends on the neighbours settings. Redonkulous. Besides my friends had plenty of heating in their room, maybe they were lucky with their neighbours, huh? The front of house staff was fairly accommodating and always turned up quickly to be fair, but this nonsense about the heating is really below par. I found the room dusty in some corners, some hair in the bathtub, carpet quite stained, the iron left with water inside by previous guest, and the cleaners a bit stingy with the toilet paper and facial tissues. I didn’t use the coffee facilities. Obviously good location, the hotel was quiet in general, there’s a handy snack ‘stand’ in reception for late night snacks.

It was a great experience I advise others to visit it

1 double bed, and 1 single bed make the room full for one guest. No bath. shower only. shower is fixed shower with no control. room temperature setting is also fixed. wash basin is too high and very uncomfortable.
