I visited with a friend and we both ordered the fish finger sandwich, which was priced at £9 each. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with what we received. The sandwich consisted of two small pieces of bland white bread with tartar sauce, iceberg lettuce, and three small fish fingers. The taste was not good and overall, we found the dish to be quite poor. I'm not sure what others may think of this dish, but personally, I would not recommend it.
I recently had a business meeting with a colleague at this restaurant and purchased the coffee. The prices were reasonable - £2.20 for a large filter coffee and £2.50 for a flat white. However, I was disappointed with the size of the flat white in the green cup. It was so small that I could only take 3 sips before it was empty. I would suggest that they inform customers about the size of their drinks before they make a purchase.
I was in the mood for a quick bite and a light sandwich sounded perfect. To my surprise, there weren't many light options on the menu, but then I came across something that reminded me of the 1960s. Despite my age of 68, with white hair and wrinkles, I decided to try the "fish finger sandwich", a dish that took me back to my youth. In my younger years, I would attend evening events after school, like plays at the Kidderminster playhouse where we could watch early shows for a shilling. This sandwich was different from the 1960s version, as it came with tartar sauce instead of ketchup or tartaric acid sauce. I eagerly waited for a taste of nostalgia as I indulged in the thick breaded sandwich, which was as surprising as an elephant in a ballet.
Very loud music ricochets from the walls, reinforced by the high ceilings and sterile ambiente. no torte available at 15 o'clock.
Basically if you ask for a regular coffee Americano if you please you expect a decent sized cup but not the case at the Millenium Cafe where they appear to have commissioned a special size zero cup for their patrons.
