Ocean Blue - Sheffield

We've been to Ocean Blue in the past quite a few times and never really had a fantastic meal from there. We usually go to The Circle in High Green as the prices are a lot better and the food is a lot better as well. I thought I'd give them another try after about a year or two not using them. The lady that works there in her 60s is lovely and has great customer service skills. The cod bites we had were cooked to order. We walked back home with our food and had it at home. The food was still hot so I don't believe that had any impact on the taste really. The chips were very dry and the fish was extremely small and quite greasy. We paid £8.30 for a kids nuggets meal and a cod bite all day special. Not full up from the meal and not very happy with the quality for the price. Looks like we'll be using The Circle in High Green from now on.

Used to be a good chippy, but gone downhill. Chips were dry as if they’ve been double cooked, and fish tasted funny. I as up all night. Not been since cook my own now.

Had a fish cake buttie nearly killed me up all night with really bad indigestion And the price (just been robbed) Never use them again disgusting

Sadly the chips were not cooked fresh, and it was disappointing. Heard good reviews, but unfortunately it seemed not to be today

Large cod and chips is fantastic! The fish is massive and so is the portion of chips. Lovely meaty white fish. There are queues because of the quality and because of Covid! Only two allowed in the shop at one time, which is sensible! Best fish and chips in Chap.
