Piccolino - Sheffield

I frequently visit this beautiful restaurant and each time I leave feeling happier than before. The food is out of this world, especially the lemon sole with capers. I chose this place to celebrate my birthday and was warmly welcomed by the entire team. I want to give a special shout-out to my favorites, Vito and Giacinto, who truly made my day memorable! From the welcome drinks to the birthday dessert plate, they went above and beyond—writing "Happy Birthday" in Russian, which meant so much to me. My friends, who came from London and Birmingham, were equally impressed with the delicious food and outstanding service. I can’t wait to return! Thank you so much—you're the best!

Another wonderful evening at the best restaurant in Sheffield! It’s always a joy to return, like visiting friends. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive! Thank you, Giuseppe, for taking such good care of us – you truly made our night! The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Don't be swayed by those ridiculous one-star reviews; I’ve eaten at top restaurants around the world and can confidently say that the quality of food, service, and facilities here is excellent! Make sure to try the lemon sole from the specials, as well as the cape and carpaccio – they were delightful! The outside terrace with sofas is also a great spot to relax.

Fantastic eating the steak was boiled to perfection and the service was perfect all the workers very helpful and politely recommended

Loved the Italian set up and good. Me and a bunch of friends had gone for dinner on the eve of our graduation. The pasta was lovely. I don’t remember the name of the dish but it was similar to lasagne. It just melted in my mouth.

Have voted I like it but did have issue with the fact that we booked a table a week in advance, and on arrival were told that it wasn 't quite ready, and to wait at the bar. 25 mins later, we were finally seated, and compensated (after asking! with a few measly scraps of bread (would have been outraged if I was expected to pay the menu price of £3.50 per basket! . Having said this, once sat, the food we ordered came very quickly and was all very tasty, and well cooked. I was particularly impressed with the amount if sea bream provided for my money. Overall, experience was ok, and we did go on a busy night.
