San Lorenzo - Sheffield

This is our favourite Italian restaurant and have been quite a few times ,however this visit was a bit different...I know everything as gone up in price and I was accepting of the 20% price increase but I didn't expect adjustments in the menu clearly done to cur costs...For the starter we had ribs...delicious but much smaller in portion size,normally 3 decent sized ribs now reduced to 2 smaller ones....We both ordered the chicken with spinach our always choice Normally 2 decent sized chicken breast in a delicious sauce with spinach...what we got this time were two chicken parcels....chicken around the outside with the spinach stuffed inside...yet again a clear cost cutting exercise... I know things are difficult for everyone at this time but doing this will lose regular customers..Sorry for this review but it has to be said

A fabulous restaurant. Everything you want from an Italian restaurant. Would recommend anything on menu all our food was wonderfully presented and great tasting. Goats cheese/mussels and prawns were enjoyed and salmon and sea bass both had lovely crispy skin just excellent. Be aware chocolate pancake was huge, make sure you have room. Definitely need to book as restaurant full from moment we arrived to moment we left.

Overall, the menu was scrumptious, reasonably priced, and offered a variety of flavorful options.

Very looks after us every time we come. Good atmosphere, great food and just a pleasant place to eat and pass an evening with good friends. Thank you!
