They were very hospitable for our party of 8 when we showed up later in the evening on a Saturday night. Between all of us we essentially had a tasting menu, the steak, salmon, pork chop and chicken were all juicy, flavorful and excellent meals. Would definitely go back when in town!
Alcapurrias and potato balls were ok. Nice to see this area with more food selections. I can get 1 potato ball double in size for a dollar at bodegas, here they were smaller, and 11$ for 3. I do however understand the circumstances. The octopus ceviche was really good, the octopus was nice and tender. I do suggest putting lids on the little containers you are putting sauces in in the to go boxes. I was unaware there was even sauces in there, spilt all over the food, making all my fried foods soggy. It was decent overall.
We accidentally came upon this little gem while visiting the Bridge of Flowers. Everyone was very friendly and it had a good atmosphere. We ordered the chicken empanadas because they were all out of beef, which were delicious. They were out of pork so I ordered the grilled shrimp with rice and salad. The shrimp was good but the rice was a little bland (for Puerto Rican style) salad tasted fresh. The cocktails were just ok. The best part of the meal were the ribs, they were very delicious. Menu is hand written.
Good food, the grilled chicken was great. The oxtail was unique, more dry-rub style than the stew I'm used to. It was much more buttery than I preferred but the flavor was very good. We didn't have internet reception inside and it had an internet based menu so he had us get on the wifi, but they should prominently display the wifi info on the table to avoid that confusion. This is a pretty new place and I hope it does well, we'll probably stop in again!
A great new place for a quick bite to eat with a nice hometown feel. Had the garlic chicken witch was delicious and a generous portion. Stop in and say hello to Nicole and Julio. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
