The menu was extensive, and I ordered fish and chips while my companion had a burger. We ordered drinks (water and soda) and extra gravy. The fish was overcooked and seemed to be made from the same batter they use for corn dogs. It was shaped like a corn dog and looked like it could have been dropped on the floor. The fries were frozen and abundant, but not very tasty. The total bill came out to $50. I don't mind spending money on a meal as long as it's worth it, but unfortunately, this one wasn't. I would suggest trying the burger joint across the street or visiting the new McDonald's in Shelburne instead.
I highly recommend Champs for top-quality burgers, fries, and onion rings, as well as large milkshakes. The staff is friendly, the service is good, and the prices are affordable.
My wife and I were dining at the Shelburne opposite when we decided to try the poutine at Champ Burger. We enjoy trying poutine from different chip trucks and restaurants around Ontario during our travels. It had been about 10 years since I last had something at Champ Burger, but I was pleased to see that some things had not changed. The restaurant has a beautiful, clean dining area both inside and outside. The menu offers a wide variety of options including burgers, poutine, hot dogs, and vegetarian dishes. We decided to order the Champ Dog and a small poutine. The Champ Dog was amazing, a large sausage filled with cheese and topped with a variety of delicious fillings. The poutine was also very tasty, with big wrinkly cut fries, cheese curds, and a flavorful (though slightly salty) gravy. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. We were so happy with our experience that we won't wait another 10 years to come back!
I've never spent so much for a couple of burgers, pommes and a few drinks. even though the drinks were 1 beer, and 1 glass wein the bill was $58. the dining room smells so fat, we went to the outside area. there were at least 10 flying that attacked us, and spiders everywhere. the food tasted as bad and we threw out about $20. what a great culinary experience lol.
We spent $58.00 on a disgusting burger and chicken fingers, while being attacked by flies. Most of the food was left behind in the garbage can. Total grease pit.
