Gyro Cafe - Shelby Township

I had a delicious gyro with a generous portion of meat that was served hot. I personally will need to ask for extra tzatziki to go with all that meat. The well-done fries were crispy and also served hot, which was great!

This is the best gyro I've ever had! They're massive, and the meat is incredibly flavorful—I'm a huge fan! I also really love the tomato sauce that accompanies the vegetables. I was immediately hooked on these gyros and will definitely be coming back for more!

This restaurant offers some of the finest authentic Greek cuisine I've ever had, particularly the gyros! The owner, Russ, treats everyone like a friend, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance is delightful, with lovely music in the background, and the food is simply outstanding! The restrooms are impeccably clean, and the entire establishment is spotless. You can genuinely savor the quality of the ingredients in every dish. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Mediterranean food, especially Greek dishes. You won't be disappointed!

The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with us. It's evident that he genuinely cares about his customers and sources the best ingredients, ensuring that no one leaves his restaurant hungry. If I weren't so ravenous, the gyro alone would have made for a fulfilling meal, especially when paired with the spinach pie—it truly felt like a feast! The only minor downside was that the service felt a bit off, which might have been due to it being our waitress's first day. She wasn't doing anything wrong, but the timing seemed a bit awkward; for example, she asked if we were ready to order after only a brief glance at the menu, and it took time to get a replacement fork after one was dropped since she was busily bringing refills and more. However, she did surprise us by offering rice pudding on the house, which definitely made up for it! Honestly, I’m surprised this place is so underrated. More people should definitely visit if they enjoy gyros!

This is a fantastic spot for a quick lunch! The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and their gyros are authentic—unlike what you find at many other Greek restaurants.
