Applebee's - Shelby

I previously wrote a review about this restaurant and, to be honest, it wasn't positive. However, my wife and I had a completely different experience today. The food was incredibly delicious! We arrived just before noon and the place was already bustling. Despite having only three servers, the service was outstanding and quick. Our server, Bradley, was excellent, even while dealing with a very rude table next to us.

The food was absolutely delicious! My best friend Chan and I were traveling from Illinois to Florida, and we took two dogs with us to Chapel Hill. On our way back to Jacksonville, we stopped to visit their cousin Lori, who kindly took us out for dinner. The service was excellent, and Mike was our server—he was fantastic! The food was so tasty, and the shark bowl was amazing. The next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely stop by again. Thanks for the wonderful meal, Applebee's, and thanks for the outstanding service, Mike!

We visited around 3 PM to dodge the crowds, and the atmosphere was wonderfully intimate and serene. Our server was fantastic. We decided to share the Spooky Sip Zombie drink after being informed by our server that the portions were quite large, and it turned out to be enormous! We're glad we decided to share because it was absolutely delicious. Both of us ordered the steak with shrimp and lemon butter sauce, and it was excellent. The Halloween decorations added a lovely touch, making it a perfect date for my husband and me. I would definitely recommend this place!
