China 1 - Shelbyville

I absolutely love China 1 here in Shelbyville! The service is very quick, and the food is fantastic!

The dining experience is exceptional at various locations, whether you're eating in or getting takeout.

I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so I drove over 40 miles to give it a try. I ordered crab rangoon and shrimp fried rice for takeout and headed back home. The crab rangoon was fantastic—definitely the best I’ve ever had, and I would absolutely order it again. Unfortunately, the experience with the shrimp fried rice was quite different. It appeared to be undercooked, with only six shrimp at the bottom of the box, along with maybe one carrot and a pea. Since the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time, I can't understand how it got overlooked. I wasn’t about to drive another 40 miles to resolve the issue. While I’ll certainly go back for the crab rangoon, I won't be trying anything else from there.
