Shelby Gyros - Shelbyville

I absolutely love this place! The doughnuts are fantastic. For the best sandwich, I recommend getting flatbread for your pitas instead of the standard bread. It's a family-owned business run by two super friendly brothers. The service is excellent and quick. If you're dining in, make sure to check in with them to see if you need anything else that isn't part of the fast food menu. I would give them an extra star if I could!

I ordered a gyro combination that came with gyro, fries, and a drink. The gyro was enormous, filled with plenty of meat and vegetables, and the cucumber salad dressing and feta cheese were delicious! We also tried the baklava, which was fantastic. Everything tasted amazing, and the prices were excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly. I loved every bit of it!

Wow, just wow. I had some amazing Greek cuisine, and this restaurant is just as good as the pricier places I've been to. We arrived about an hour before closing, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Since it was our first time there, we ordered several dishes to sample. The portion sizes are enormous—I have enough leftovers for two more meals! Even at the end of the day, the Tabouli was served fresh. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. My three kids ate like they hadn't had a meal in days, and they even enjoyed their vegetables. Yes, you heard that right—vegetables! If I could give this place six stars, I would. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever we visit Shelbyville.

Absolutely love this place and people. Owners and workers are very friendly, at the minute you enter the door. The restaurant is clean. Very large portions of great food. And they make sure that if you are not satisfied, they try the absolute best to fix the problem.

Our #1 place to grab food. It's very reasonably priced, you get enough food in one meal to eat on 2 to 3 times. Service is the best. Always courteous, don't mess around with your time if you're in a hurry or just ready to eat.
