The seafood is great. It has a good soul. Real seafood, also fresh. And supplement with blues and soul music.
Absolutely fantastic—definitely a five-star experience! This is hands down the best spot on Shelter Island. Having grown up on Long Island, I have to say this is the only place that makes me feel at home on the island. I know Stacy has put a lot of effort into maintaining the original vibe, but it just doesn’t resonate with me. I used to visit Chequit, and it was quite disappointing. I left that place and came here, and it truly saved my birthday! I’m so thankful this place is still around! Big thanks to Jimmy and Amanda!
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem of the protective island. The atmosphere is lovely, and the fresh seafood is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is fantastic, making the entire experience exceptional. I highly recommend it!
This is a relaxed and inviting spot. A couple of things to note before you visit: they only accept cash, and you'll need to bring your own drinks. I absolutely loved the fried flounder sandwich and really enjoyed the mussels. However, I found the baked clams to be a bit too watery for my liking. Overall, the vibe is really cool and the soul food is fantastic. I would definitely go back!
