Waterview Cafe - Shelton

Attended an evening wedding at The Waterview. The cocktail hour was overflowing with delicious food. Although many people were full, when dinner was served during the reception, most cleaned their plates. The view was beautiful and the facilities were extremely well kept.

I attended a wedding reception at this venue, and it was absolutely stunning. The space is spacious enough to accommodate large events, yet still feels intimate for smaller gatherings. With water nearby, the photo opportunities around the grounds are breathtaking. The windows and overall layout are perfect for any occasion. The staff was not only efficient but also consistently friendly, seamlessly transitioning between tasks. I would definitely consider traveling here for any event in the future.

The venue is stunning, particularly for a wedding. While the interior decor may be a bit extravagant, everything they offer truly embodies a five-star experience. The bar snacks and cocktails were superb, and the dinner was exceptional, which is uncommon for large weddings. The antipasto appetizer could have been a meal on its own, and the main courses were quite impressive. My filet was cooked to perfection, accompanied by delightful side dishes. The reception area layout was also very appealing. The staff were wonderful. If you're looking for an unforgettable wedding experience, this is definitely the place to choose.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. We started our evening with cocktails and appetizers, which were enjoyable. However, things took a turn when the filet arrived. As a beef enthusiast, I hold a good filet in high regard, but unfortunately, this one fell short. It was overcooked and tough, leaving me quite disappointed.

Weather cooperated vows outside, one room for hor d’oerves cocktails, then beautiful ballroom overlooking lake for reception perfect!
