La Casita De Familia - Shenandoah

The food is fantastic, and the portions are quite generous. There is ample parking available. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere also a 4. I highly recommend trying the Nacho Supreme and the Chimichanga. There are plenty of parking options, including a free parking lot, free street parking, and paid street parking.

This was my first time visiting, and it definitely won’t be my last! Every dish we ordered was spot on. The fresh juices were outstanding as well. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

Sometimes I dine in at this restaurant and the food is excellent! You get chips and salsa before your meal, the portions are huge, and I never leave disappointed. This time, I ordered take out and let me tell you, the portion was way smaller than what I’m used to and they make you pay a decent amount if you want the same chips and dip you always get served in the restaurant. I was so disappointed. I might not eat here again for a long time because of how much I paid for a terrible take out experience!

I ended up going here after reading all the reviews saying how “authentic” this place is but as someone who grew up on the Mexican border I found this place to be extremely bland so far from authentic. Their salsa was literally canned tomato sauce. I’m pretty sure they don’t even season their meat. I couldn’t finish my meal. Also the tables were really sticky. I’m now getting real Mexican food at 4 Hermanos in Frackville. Service: Dine in
