Tumbleweed Tex Mex Grill Margarita

My husband and I dined at this Tumbleweed for the first time in November 2012. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately disappointed by the strong smell of cigarette smoke. Although we were seated in the non-smoking area, the scent lingered throughout our meal. I also noticed smoke drifting near our table from a ceiling light, indicating that the smoke was spreading across the room. On a positive note, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The manager was friendly and engaging during his visit to our table. I would love to return, but I won’t be able to until the smoking issue is addressed. It's disappointing because I want to enjoy a meal without the smell or exposure to secondhand smoke.

I walked in but found that there were no employees present. After several minutes, a girl finally arrived but didn't offer an apology. We decided to leave, as she didn't seem to care about the situation. It was a very strange experience.

We waited 35 minutes before our drinks arrived, and the parking lot was nearly empty. I asked when they opened, and they said 11:00 AM. We arrived at 3:00 PM on a Saturday. The service was terrible, the food was mediocre, and the atmosphere was just okay.

Very convenient location! We walked over from the Holiday Inn Express. The atmosphere was nice and the bartender was very attentive. My husband had the chicken chimichenga and I had the 10 oz ribeye with veggies and mashed potatoes. Both were delicious!
