Waitress so endearing on Sunday morning! She knew her menu well and offered excellent service in English to my spouse who does not speak French while we were visiting my parents for the holidays. Food and service A1! Impeccable and welcoming places! Lack of ventilation and a little hot, air conditioning would be welcome (Original Serveuse tellement attachante le dimanche matin!
Great sandwiches, and an OK selection of beer. My French is very shaky, and the bartender’s English wasn’t the best, but we were able to communicate fine, and she made great recommendations. Would return
My husband and I had dinner on a Sunday. We shared a Tapas plate featuring charcutrie meats, cheese and condiments: very good and generous. We ordered main meals which were expertly prepared and presented by the chef and his team. Our waiter was attentive and efficient throughout the evening. Great local beer on tap, too. The music noise level was a little too loud for us, but it seemed to please the younger croud.
Yes, I visited Canada on a snowy day just for the hell of it. It 's the perfect time of year to visit. I only went as far as Sherbrooke though but this time of year hotels in places like Montreal are great deals. Places that would be way out of my price range in the summer are super cheap so I suspect I 'll be going back for a few days soon. I 'd never been just to Sherbrooke so I figured why not. This little tapas restaurant was nice. Great lighting and booths. Our waitress was pretty good with English too so that was nice. Interesting menu for sure. We ended up trying a blood pudding dish that also included a fried egg (not sure why but tasty), special poutine with the most amazing gravy and a falafel plate with hummus. For drinks, they had some great local beers on tap and an absolutely amazing peach sangria. Yum. Not too expensive and the little plates were actually quite filling. It wasn 't busy at all when we went on an early Saturday evening and there was plenty of street parking.
