Bak Hauk Chinese & Japanese Cuisine

Horrible tasting Chinese food. Tasted old and it was mushy. No taste to the sauces. It went straight in the garbage. Waste of time and money ordering food. No one was in the restaurant eating when I picked up the take out. That should have been my "red flag" right there to not pay for the food and leave. This place use to be decent and now I will never go back after this experience

Probably the worst and most ignorant place to attempt to order food from. First asked over the phone for an address. Then we asked if they took debit at the door. Then they told us it would be 45 minutes. Hour and a half later we call for where our food is and we're told they don't have delivery. Seriously. You TOOK OUR ADDRESS and told us it would be DELIVERED in 45 minutes. How do you NOT HAVE DELIVERY? How do you NOT call when when our order has been on the counter for this long? What a joke. No one should EVER order from here. Just ridiculous service. Simply unacceptable.

I was very disappointed when Bak Hauk renovated and dropped sushi from their menu. I was happy to see they reopened as Bak Hauk offering sushi again. I've eaten at there a few times since they reopened. My favorite is the Dragon Roll. They do a good job with it but compared to before they closed the rolls are smaller and don't have half the salmon. The service is good and friendly. Your order is ready when they say it will be.

We were delighted to hear that BakHauk had come back! We placed an order as soon as we heard that they brought their sushi and sashimi back. After BakHauk closed and revamped to The Goodtime Asian Bistro, we were unable to find high quality sushi and sashimi for a reasonable price. We placed a take out order this week. Needless to say, our dinner was phenomenal. Fresh and delicious fish selections. The sunomono salad is unparalleled. TheVietnamese salad rolls were amazing! This is Asian Fusion at it's best. Had a bento box at lunch; the overwhelming impression was of grease. The miso soup was likely reconstituted from a powder; the garlic beef was very tough and hard to eat, although nicely seasoned, with a good sauce. the tempura was really bad - a very thick and heavy batter - fine if I'd ordered fish and chips but this is TEMPURA - should be very light, and not greasy. A small salad was included and appreciated.
