Contribuisci feedbackService was terribly slow. Bartender didn't know how to make a simple vodka martini and the server could not explain why it was red ? The explanation was ridiculous . We were not asked if anyone had allergies that they should be aware of prior to ordering .
We came to celebrate our anniversary, and the food was not as impressive as I expected it to be. It was my second time at the restaurant, and my fiancé 's first. We ordered the crab cakes, a filet with Oscar topper, and a steak Oscar. The crab cakes were pretty mediocre, and the filet came out undercooked, so we had it cooked up. Overall, it was a decent experience, but it could have been better!
We waited 1.5 hour for our meal. Our server said that the kitchen was doing a buffet I one of the conference rooms. Clearly the kitchen could not handle the workload. The food finally arrived and was not hot or very good. The server was pleasant and was apologetic and we felt badly for her. We have been to the south side Chops a few times and always enjoyed it. Not a place I would recommend, vey disappointing.
Staff were very welcoming, server was attentive, even with the restaurant being very busy. Food was excellent I had the steak and lobster and husband had the ribeye and both were amazing and cooked to order. We definitely will be going back.
We asked for the wine to be served with dinner but it came a third of the way through the main course. And, the coffee was cold when served. Everything else was wonderful — especially the noise level. We could hear the conversation of everyone at the table.
