LOCAL Public Eatery - Sherwood Park

I love going to Local Sherwood for my burger fix on Fridays! Their homemade burgers are always fresh and delicious. The yam fries with truffle aioli are amazing too! The service is always excellent and the restaurant is very clean. It's definitely my favorite place for a burger.

Lots of drinks, beers etc. but the meal choices were reasonably limited. Service was fine quick to get a seat and food was prepared. Fairly quickly. Had the poutine special definitely salty. I don’t think I would go back.

I am very disappointed with my recent dining experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food has declined, and prices have increased due to inflation. Most of the waitresses were unfriendly, and the fish and chips we ordered were dry and tasteless. The gravy was overly salty, and none of us were able to finish our meals. The waitress was so unpleasant that we didn't even bother to complain about the food. We decided not to take any leftovers home because the food was simply not worth it. Overall, it was a waste of money and a very disappointing experience. I will not be returning to this restaurant again, as the quality of the food has significantly decreased and it is now overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially for a family outing.

We had a delightful lunch experience at this Local. The service was exemplary and the food delicious. We shared the fried egg enchilada and were very pleased that it came plated for two. What a plus! On the weekend one can have brunch as well as choices from the regular menu. Our experience was memorable and we will be back soon.

I ordered lunch at Local Sherwood for pickup, where I had the Crispy Chicken and a salad. I found the service to be very inexperienced on the curbside pickup and not very friendly. I was given a massive bag with my lunch inside, and when I returned to the car, there was no utensils inside for the salad. The sandwich was average at best, I will not eat here again, nor recommend Local Sherwood.
