Had the chicken salad sandwich on dark rye bread. The sandwich was great. My daughter had the BLT and had to remove the bacon because she could not bite through it. Tasted both soups (tomato and mushrooms/leak). Both soups were seriously on the salty side....More

Don't be fooled by the long lineup if you arrive anywhere around noon, the line goes quickly,I enjoy coming here for lunch with work friends as the food is all home-made, made to order in front of your eyes, and very very tasty. Nothing like a good egg-salad sandwich, or maybe a grilled turkey sandwich, perhaps with the soup-of-the-day, and a homemade puffwheat square for dessert. They also have daily hot specials - chili, stew, etc. The staff here are friendly and always ready to serve you.

We had no issues with the food. It was fantastic and fresh. Service was top notch. Its the restraurant ventilation. There seems to be inadequate ventilation from the cooking/kitchen, and you can notice the smell of cooking in all your clothes after you leave. I rate it 5 for food,service.. 2 for the air quality.

This small local eatery, is great for the people that want to dine and dash. Lots of selection for sandwich or the daily soups. They have Kergig coffee machine with many many types. And flavours. The staff are friendly as well.
