Swiss Chalet - Sherwood Park

I wanted chicken. I got chicken. It was very good. Mmmm chicken.

This is how things should be. Nothing is perfect. BUT this is how the place should be. The TV's had a seriously BLUE tint. The servers were great. The way that meat fell off those ribs, wonderful job. The atmosphere is ideal for dining.

One of the best Swiss chalets in the greater Edmonton area. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table during a busy supper rush. The chicken comes flying out of the kitchen shortly after ordering. Service was great and accurate. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Four diners and everyone enjoyed their meals. Reasonably priced and as good as rotisserie chicken can be. Always a nice family meal.Kid-friendliness: Great spot for kids. Kids eat free on wednesday. Each free kids meal requires the purchase of a full meal from the main menu.

Portions are smaller than historically. We ordered the Festive chicken sandwich. Was charged and served the regular chicken ? sandwich. Upon returning the meal to the counter they threw it out and made a while new one instead of giving me a scoop of dressing and cranberries. The festive version apparently only has one piece of bread ... open faced?? Here's the kicker. We were charged 4.20 extra. 21.75 for the regular and 22.99 for the festive. Something was wrong with the math and the cashiers couldn't do anything about it.The food area most tables were dirty and none of the tables were cleaned while we ate. The tables were miss matched and floors dirty.I will have to consider hard if I ever come back to eat in the Swiss Chalet takeout/Harvey's side of the restaurant.

Came here for my first festive special of the year was very good will be back.
