The staff here are incredibly helpful, the cake is fantastic, and the coffee is excellent! While the hearty meals don’t quite measure up to the quality of the desserts, they’re still good—just not as impressive. I did find the small filter coffee priced at £2.30 a bit on the expensive side, though that didn’t stop me from indulging in three cups! It might be better if they offered a larger cup of filter coffee or a refill option. The shop next door had some interesting items, making it a nice way to pass the time while waiting for the bus to the mainland. This seems to be the only café/restaurant in the area (at least, it was the only one I found), so it tends to get quite busy. I recommend booking ahead, especially if you plan to eat before or after a trip to the mainland.

A must-visit coffee spot when you're in the north of Unst! The freshly baked cakes and the surroundings are absolutely delightful. Although the main coffee machine was waiting for parts, the filter coffee available was quite enjoyable. It's a very busy place, so it's probably best to make a reservation if you want a table for lunch. There’s also a gift shop attached. We enjoyed it so much that we visited three separate times!

The northernmost tea room in Great Britain serves an array of exquisite cakes and a wide selection of teas. You can also find some lovely souvenirs to purchase. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting!

The caffeine was closed because of kovid, but the beautiful owner of the teeroom designed a self-catering café where they can buy tee, coffee, refreshments, suppe of the day (it was delicious, sandwiches, saunas, buy. we also enjoyed the hope. many thanks for this great idea.

Lovely views and the filled roll and tea we had was nice, but they 'd sold out of half (literally, no exaggeration) the items on the chalk board at 12:30. Why don 't they rub them out, or at least tell you all items which are gone instead of just saying sorry, run out to everything you try to order? The service left a bit to be desired too. We were sent away from the counter and told someone would be over. Eventually when people coming in behind us were being served at the counter we went back and this time they let us order. Once we could find something they actually had that is....
