Bade Miyan - Shillong

A really hyped place by many, so if one wants to say like that which in terms of many aspects maybe true. Mainly famous for its rolls. I tried their rolls and also their tandoori chicken. I like their rolls I tried both the chicken and egg one. Not at all close to the hype but still good. I liked the tandoori more it's was really good and juicy with the chutney given together making it more tasty. But as a restaurant one should combine all the aspects like cleanliness and comfort in seating arrangements which is really pathetic and poor. Maybe for takeaway it is a good outlet. But if there was more seating arrangements and cleanliness combined then i would have given a higher rating.

Best known for the Rolls. Simple and very affordable.

The roll of this place is famous coz its cheap . But can't ignore the fact that its very very dirty , the tables, walls, plates everything is dirty . If you stand outside and have thn no problem but once you sit inside to have the food then its unacceptable.

I had chicken cabab and chicken egg roll here that are so delicious. They sell Halal chicken meat so that Muslims can also have.

There are a very few halal restaurants in Shillong. Bade Miyan is one of them. They don't have any halal certification but they claim that they're halal. Their food is pretty good and value for money. But they need to work on their environment. If it was nicer, it would have been an amazing experience. The stuffs are really nice and friendly. They've customized a roll for me with paneer (cheese) and chicken. Loved it.
