Naga Rice - Shillong

Very cozy Naga food, I love the rice there... Rs. 170 for a complete thali is pretty good... A delicious stop for lunch and dinner. I'm glad I found it on my first day. Since I never stopped going there! Yum!

Great food. Small place. Very few items on the menu, but the food tastes brilliant. Political personnel.

Good homely food. Loved the rice especially. Fresh beef thali is definitely worth trying. I would say that the place is a little too congested, for the lack of a better word. But a nice little place to get some authentic Naga food.

This place is just in the heart of the city of Shillong Police Bazaar run by a young Naga man, this place offers you naga food like fresh pork or smoked pork, fish, chicken with bamboo shoot, axone chutney, vegetable boil, dal, soup and with the local red rice. If you are Shillong and missed your home food definitely you must visit this Naga rice hotel. Its just 10 meters away from the Chennai Junction Restaurant which is opposite to Center Point Hotel.

Food quality is not good. specifically the local rice is not digestable for all person. You should skip rice in your lunch. Instead of this you may eat maggi, nooodles, soups etc. In the northern and western part of Meghalaya food is not too tasty at all. you should keep biscuits, cakes, dryfruits, chocolates in your bag.
