Anselmo Vineyards - Shingletown

It appears this is no longer a working business and not open that should be removed from yelp or updated to say closed

I have no idea why they say there open it 's been closed for a few years for remodeling and other reasons. New owners have no idea what they are doing and the place looks dried up, you can 't very well have a winery without grapes. They also let all the local help go, hum they have no idea what they are doing. Anyway it 's NOT open for business, we have wasted our time driving up.

What a waste of a beautiful venue and I also had a 100.00 gift certificate from the old Anselmos that they would not honor. I can not believe they take care of customers this way!!!

Really want to love this place. Just beautiful setting. After last nutty owners had real hope. Went there for lunch today one choose. Rib eye. For lunch? Well chef was burned out so guest chef took over. 2 appetizer salads and 1 3 flight tasting of about 1 oz each and terrible wine) $43. Really? I 've paid less in Paris. Gosh darn I had such high hopes. Cannot imagine returning

Truly a beautiful place. My husband and I visited here on recommendations from friends. After a delightful meal (Thursday pizza night we decided to come back with our family this evening. Not only were the kids delighted at the beauty of the landscape they were treated to wonderful horseback rides from Carolyn (and her lovely horses Foxy and Diamond were so fun . I am so impressed with their friendly staff, the chef is hilarious and the food is the best we've had in this area. I look forward to many more dinners at Anselmo, and I highly recommend it, (though selfishly I want to keep how awesome it is a secret... nothing like not having to wait months for a reservation- but it could someday be like that at a place this amazing! Perfect date night, stunning drive to the vineyard, delightful staff, (child friendly-on casual night Thursday and the wine is fabulous. I had to give it a 5 star!
