East Of Chicago - Shipshewana

The pizza was decent, but they weren't putting out any fresh pies. Three families shared just one fresh pizza, which meant we each got only one slice for $25. The other pizzas on the buffet were dried out and looked like they had been sitting there for a while. When I asked for some fresh pizzas, I was told that the buffet closes at 7:30. I really don't understand why they offer a buffet if they aren't going to serve fresh food. If I'd known, I would have just ordered a pizza, which would have cost about the same and actually given us something warm and tasty to eat. I'm still hungry!

I was hoping for slightly better quality pizza. While it was still edible, the dessert pizzas were truly delightful.

We visited this restaurant many years ago, and it's still quite good. Having grown up in the Chicago area, we know what we like when it comes to pizza, and this place hits the mark with its delicious offerings. We arrived for dinner half an hour before the buffet was scheduled to start, but they kindly said they would begin it early. While the pizzas were being prepared, we enjoyed the salad bar, which also included pudding and fruit. They had an apple cobbler pizza along with another dessert pizza, and there were also sub sandwiches cut into thinner slices for the buffet as well as about five different kinds of pizza. They serve Pepsi products. Overall, the food was great, and the staff was very friendly.

Amazingly great tasting food! Pizza, that we consumed and was wanting more. Steak subs that melted in your mouth. Wings, spiced just right. Food was well prepared and the delivery team were kind and prompt and brought plates.

We were staying at the Shipshewana Campground and wanted something to eat close by and looked this place up! The pizza was delicious and very filling! I also accidentally left my purse and the workers chased us back to our Campground to tell me I left it. I'm so grateful that they did because we were leaving out in the morning and I probably wouldn't have noticed it till then and they would've been closed! So this place gets my vote!!!
