We ordered Linguini with Salmon, sun-dried tomatoes, shallots, spinach, and garlic. The chefs did an amazing job. I placed my order for 5:30 pick up and it was ready on time and hot. To top it off, there was a homemade sourdough bun that was also delicious. Thank you for a great meal.
While it was a bit of a trek from Sidney, the journey was definitely worth it. This charming restaurant sits atop a cliff overlooking the sea, offering stunning views. We visited during lunch, but I can only imagine how breathtaking the sunset would be. The sunny weather added to the experience. The seafood linguine was outstanding, and the salad and bread were equally tasty. After our meal, we were able to take a stroll down to the beach, which was a great way to work off some of the calories from lunch.
I have dined at this restaurant a few times and can confidently say that while some menu items are better than others, I have never been let down by a meal here. They frequently update their menu to incorporate fresh seasonal ingredients, offering main courses such as Salmon, Beef, and Vegetarian options. The lunch menu differs slightly from the dinner menu. Personally, I always enjoy the Salmon dishes they offer. No matter what you choose, you are sure to be satisfied. The food is freshly prepared using local ingredients. Another bonus of dining here for lunch is the beautiful ocean view. While there are few tables available, each one offers a lovely elevated view. Lunch service is first come, first serve, while dinner reservations are required. The dining room has a small, casual atmosphere, while the food is more upscale. Unfortunately, the service was slow and lacked friendliness from the lady server. However, the prices were reasonable.
In anticipation of a recent stay at Point No Point my wife and I booked a table in the restaurant. Such was the quality of our experience we went back the next evening. The restaurant has a lot to like. The environment/ambiance is charming. The service friendly and efficient. The menu is superb and is largely comprised of local produce. Notable was the grilled marinated Humboldt squid appetizer and wild salmon entree. With beer and wine included, we agreed we had great value for money
We hadn’t planned to venture so far from Victoria, but a local urged us to go just 25 minutes further to the Point-no-Point Restaurant. Luckily, we heeded her advice, as we had the best meal of our trip there! The croque monsieur (ham and cheese sandwich) was the “best ever” according to my better half. Amazing bread and tender, tender ham. I had the seafood Alfredo which was excellent as well, and I had enough for lunch the next day. Our seat by the window was the coup—a lovely view of the water below was the perfect touch—not to mention the pair of binoculars on each table, with fresh flowers, as well. Highly recommend! Next time we will rent one of their charming cottages so we can enjoy more meals at their restaurant!
