Jarochita In Arl - Shirlington

A big thank you to Northern Virginia's food enthusiasts for introducing me to this restaurant. It is conveniently located right across the street from McDonald's and within walking distance from my workplace. I visited for the first time during my lunch break and despite being very busy, the staff efficiently guided customers to the register. I ordered two Al Pastor tacos for $3.75 each and a kids' chicken quesadilla for $5.50. However, there was a mistake at the register and I was given a regular quesadilla and charged $7.50, resulting in a total of $20.63. After a few minutes, the owner, Pink, who also prepares the food, approached me and apologized for the confusion. They offered to comp my entire meal, which I appreciated. Instead, I politely declined and requested their homemade Horchata as a gesture of gratitude. I was impressed by the attentiveness and quick resolution provided by the staff. This is definitely a place where one should try authentic Mexican cuisine.

The food was not to my liking, it did not taste good.
