Kapnos Taverna - Shirlington

Soooooo much better than it has to be. I had a delicious salad. Warm pita, RIPE tomatoes. Damn. Too bad it’s in an airport. Lucky for me though. Vegetarian options: Burrata salad was chef’s kiss.

Terrible service, the entire restaurant was empty and they were not OK with us sitting to order just soda. Can only sit if you order alcohol apparently.

Surprised by the reviews to this place. Yes. They forget like 1 item like olives commonly it seems, but wow, was it insanely good. The kapnos nachos is probably the best appetizer I ever had and the price was so low for something SO GOOD in an AIRPORT too. The drinks were phenomenal.

Great experience, good food, and a special shout out to Robert for his outstanding help. Give that guy a raise!!!

Greek salad with chicken breast. Salad greens were fresh. Lots of olives. Breast was dry,of course, but flavorful. Server polite and responsive. The rating reflects airport meal.
