The restaurant exudes a cozy and laid-back atmosphere, making it my preferred choice for dining out in Shizuoka during the day (I just wish it stayed open later). Located just a short walk from Shin-Shizuoka station, it is easily accessible. With a menu that changes with the seasons, visiting Locomani is always a delightful experience to sample different dishes. This popular restaurant caters to both vegans and non-vegans alike, so be sure to arrive early as the intimate space fills up quickly.
I was in Shizuoka for just two days and my first lunch was so great I came back the next day with friends. Great quality and amazing desserts. Living in Tokyo, I am sad I can't come here more!! I recommend the daizu (soy) meat karaage, and the seasonal fig tart was excellent. The staff were also very accommodating I mentioned I'm not a fan of hijiki (a type of seaweed) and the subbed a brand new side dish for my picky palette.
This charming establishment is located near the train station and offers a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is fluent in English and the food is simply amazing, clearly made with care and skill. I am a frequent visitor to this delightful place and always look forward to returning.
Delicious taco-rice with choices of brown, white, or half-and-half mixed rice. Great light meal. Followed with ‘healthy gateau-chocolat ‘. Everything vegan. Seating for 15 in this small, retro style cafe at tables window counter. Friendly staff. Japanese menu: daily set Taco-rice regularly offered as well as cakes, cookies, organic fair-trade coffee tea.
I have tried several vegan restaurants in Tokyo, but Locomani has the best food!
