The best bacon and egg roll in Shoal Bay! Coffee is also good. If you are looking for a simple but enjoyable brekkie then The Cafe is worth a visit. Customer service is great and the view is great. You can hear the waves lapping up the shores.

Very delayed review but better late than never! Ordered 2 cakes here for my mothers surprise 60th back in February and they couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and very enthusiastic! I ordered a carrot cake and a lime and coconut both iced. Very reasonably priced and so so tasty! Very greatful for a pleasant stress free experience so thank you Team at The Cafe Shoal Bay! (Unfortunately I only have a picture of the carrot cake)

Bought the bacon and egg roll and smashed avo. The roll was made perfectly with plenty of bacon and an amazing brioche bun. The smashed avo was also immaculate with fresh ingredients and excellent flavour. Thanks all well done!

This is nice little family run cafe. The service is super friendly and attentive. There is a good amount of spacious alfresco seating with shade. Although, you'd still want to get in early if you want breakfast on a weekend as they can get busy. The menu is your standard cafe menu, but they do bake a lot of their cakes on site. The Brownie is definitely something worth trying. Coffee is done quite well, relatively strong with good flavour. For breakfast, I had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon, in my opinion, I actually prefer the Salmon not to be cooked, but it's no complaint, just a preference. The menu is well priced and won't break the bank. Did I mention the owners are friendly? They are more than happy to have a bit of chat, provided they have the time. Staff are young, but seem to be experienced. I had an enjoyable experience here.
