The Parsons Barn - Shoeburyness

This is one of the best Wetherspoons in the city. The bar staff are excellent, and the venue boasts two spacious, well-maintained beer gardens. The food is fantastic, making it a great place for families. Compared to other Wetherspoons in the area, this one stands out. They host quiz nights and don't show sports, which adds to its unique charm. The set-dinner nights are wonderful, but I recommend arriving early as it gets quite busy. However, this doesn't detract from the speedy service. The staff are always smiling, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. Overall, it's a great night out!

I was really impressed by this pub. We came in for breakfast with a large group, and although we hadn't made a reservation, they happily accommodated us and even brought additional tables for our convenience. The service was fantastic, and the food was great. The menu offered a wonderful variety of choices. I will definitely be returning!
