So, I asked to be seated on the porch and had the place to myself, as the large group wasn't due to arrive until long after my departure. It was my own special dining experience! If gazpacho is being served, I always order it. This was the best I've had: creaminess from yogurt and lots of minced cucumber. My main course was actually an appetizer: BBQ Shrimp. Thick roux with a dose of spice. Finally, what can be said about their creme brulee other than it was perfectly elegant. Highly memorable!
Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing. The ropa vieja was delightful and very authentic and my husband thoroughly enjoy his filet mignon. Would love to eat here again when we get find out way back out here.
This was our first visit and overall enjoyed it. Our server looked young so I asked her age. She was 17, named Mimi, and the daughter of the owners. She was delightful! We split the spinach salad, so good with a tasty dressing. The fish amandine that day was fresh speckled trout and I ordered it. What a wonderful dish! Pam tried the Ropa Vieja, brisket braised in a Cuban style sauce. It wasn 't to our liking but some might enjoy it. The setting is an old house with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The next time we are in The Bay at dinner time I think we 'll try it again. If you go be sure to have reservations because they are popular with the locals.
Very nice restaurant in downtown Bay St. Louis with exceptionally good food. The BBQ Shrimp and Grits were superb.
Ordered take out pizza this evening and thumbs down. Very disappointed. Pizza was greasy and not well prepared. Bring back your pizza maker from several months ago!!
