Had breakfast here. What a treat! ! The Bacon was the best, hash browns were as good as I have had in memory, and the eggs prepared just as I had specified. Also had sample of wife's omellette unbelievable!!! The waitress friendly and right there with the great coffee. The adjacent motel has a unique outside appearance, wouldn't hesitate to stay if I was needed overnight. Overall a very enjoyable stop.

It doesn't look like a place you would want to eat anything in, but to my surprise WOW ! This was the best breakfast i had in a........... I can't even remember! Great food !!! Trust me. I'm very picky when it comes to food. Also : there is a motel right next to it. Didn't stay there, but i tought it would be helpful ;

I also have to mention the chocolate chip pancakes—they were fantastic! There's a little sign in the restroom that explains how they lost the hotel and restaurant during Hurricane Katrina but have since worked hard to rebuild. Supporting this place not only means enjoying amazing food but also making a difference in the lives of hardworking survivors. It’s a win-win situation! Don't pass up the chance to stop here; you won’t regret it!

I really wanted to enjoy this locally owned diner, and the food was quite good. However, I had some concerns when I saw the staff filling the ice machine with ice from a kitty litter bucket. Additionally, the cook came in after smoking and immediately began touching my toast without washing his hands. Unfortunately, I can't return after witnessing that.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a waitress who seemed a bit out of it, while the cook appeared to be bored. The only other customer was quietly enjoying a cup of coffee at a corner table. I opted for a seat at one of the tables with bench seating by the window that lined the restaurant. I ordered coffee and the Gulf shrimp omelette, which came with hash browns and a biscuit. The coffee was hot and flavorful, the hash browns were perfectly crispy, the biscuit was nicely toasted, and the omelette was absolutely delicious! Overall, the food was exceptional and the service was top-notch... definitely a case of first impressions being misleading!
