Hubbard Park Beer Garden - Shorewood

This is a fantastic spot to ride your bike to via the Oak Leaf Trail. The drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is very laid-back. It's a family-friendly place, so feel free to bring your kids. There are enjoyable yard games, and it's conveniently located near the Milwaukee River, making it easy to take a stroll.

This is a place I really miss. It’s a fantastic spot to relax while you’re out walking the trail. Last year, you could only get beer or water, but this year they’ve added food, ice cream, and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks to the menu alongside beer. The tables are carefully cleaned after each guest leaves, and the staff is friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere with nice people inside.

A great stop along the beer line trail! In the warmer months, I enjoy walking or biking and taking a break here for drinks and relaxation, or even bringing my work to sit in the park with a beer or wine while I read. There are plenty of picnic tables, and it’s easy to visit during less busy times to soak in the tranquility of the surrounding park. The trail has an access point nearby, and there are bike racks available. Remember, like most beer gardens, you'll need to pay a deposit to get a token for your glass. Also, the bar accepts card payments, so it’s not cash only!

Love that this place is open year-round, can have a beer and hang outside around the fire overlooking the Milwaukee River in the time of COVID. Would love to try the Little dining bubbles they have outside.

We went last night and it was around maybe 15° at 8:00pm. We were kept warm all night. You are even given blankets. The waitress was very good at not opening the door quit often to the dome to keep the heat in. The set up was beautiful and cozy. The menu options were a good variety of appetizers, drinks, and main courses. I recommend the Hot Toddy , ribs, and I loved the bread that came with the chili. All in all it was a great experience after a long work week and I will most definitely be back for brunch.
