Children had pancakes and bacon and the portions and flavors they had asked if we could always have breakfast here...Biscuits and Gravy kept their own to others we had made all the house and with the green Chile sauce amazing Omelet was soft and gooey with enough taste and cheese to not be an everyday menu item. After completion we ordered slices of freshly made cakes and cinnamon roll... everything more than we had expected and we had compared them with others... the best surprise for us was added the Apple Pie with Green Chile... the sweet and earthly of him...WhereW... goes away to Aunt Nancy's from food to the BEST customer service... we put them on our favorite list and will make it a regular stop in the city when we ' in all the excitement photos of our food have been missed
Light hometown cafe atmosphere. The staff is attentive. They had no tabasco sauce, which was somehow unusual; but my breakfast was very different. Bonus points for actual sausages in the Gravy for my cookie.
We wanted to try this place. We are very happy. The food was made at home and everything was amazing!!! Definitely recommend. They won't be disappointed. We definitely found our new favorite place to eat
Amazing food and wonderful service! I ordered the house special, chicken fried steak with green chili sauce. Put your hands down what I've ever had! It is hard to decide what was better, the breakfast or Pams wonderful service. If you're around somewhere, I suggest you look by and try.
Classic cafe atmosphere that is authentic (as in its super kitschy, but not because they think you’ll like it but because they do . The food quality was great for a cafe (we’ve been to a few cafes in the area and this was our favorite food-wise by far! . We split the special a cinnamon roll and a hot chocolate: •Eggs sunny side up: Average (what you’d expect from any cafe •Cottage potatoes: Above average (comparing to hash browns you’d typically get at a cafe . They were like a mix between scalloped potatoes and hash browns and we loved it. •Biscuit and gravy: Average (what you’d expect from any cafe •Chicken fried steak: Above average. They had great flavor and good mouth feel (whatever that means, but I can’t figure out how else to explain it •Hot chocolate: Excellent! They served it in two pieces, a mug FULL of whipped cream (like actually cream that was whipped and then a cute little metal container to dump on top. •Cinnamon Roll: Excellent! Great frosting, served hot and with a strawberry (which I thought was unique AND delicious! . My wife said it was the best she’d had, which I thought was a little over the top, but it was definitely delicious! It was a little more pricey than I expected, but within the realm of what to expect from a cafe. Our meal ended up costing about $20 for all of that. The waitress was nice, but we’re glad we got in early because it got crowded (Saturday morning by the time we left and she was busy. We’d like to come back next time we’re in Show Low!
