Chicago - Shreveport

Verdict : it may be a while before I go back, but I GUESS I would go back if a group of people went. Pros: music that makes the people get out on the floor. Different floors for different vibes (rap up top, more subtle at the bottom. And a hookah lounge is down there too). $10 only for cover. Cons : Inconsistent with dress code Smoke. Smoke everywhere. Inside and out. Bathrooms crowded (2 stalls in the one I went to downstairs. 7 women. Smh) DJ plays same songs. I heard a few of the same songs. I assume all weakened drinks since my Blue MF was sweet and didn 't buzz me. crowded dance floor at times. When ppl are doing a line dance, move back if you 're not dancing parking. Sometimes you can pay $5 for the Parking next to it. If you get there too late, you 'll have to park a distance away and walk. Drove in from Tx to have a good time. That immediately fell short when we weren 't allowed to all go in because of a male friend 's shirts being too long (picture attached). They were at his waist. We asked could we pull them up more to suit the length requirement. Could we roll them up? The bouncer said no. So my friends started looking up the closest Walmart. Then voila after I took my pictures for yelp and after one of the friends complained at the front we were let in. What happened to the dress code violation ? We didn 't change. Club closes at 5. We left around 3. Mixed Drinks are like $9 11. There is a dress code that is abided by; however, I have yet to find it online for the public to view ANYWHERE. Everything else is in the pros and cons list up top. This will help newcomers from out of town Park on MILAM street. I parked near Law Offices of Peter R. Flowers, 101 Milam St #100, Shreveport, LA 71104. And had to walk back towards KOKO Pelis to get to the club. It was like a 4 min walk. The casino is right there by a flashing light. (Casino on the right). Park closer to the other flashing light to be a little closer to the club.

Huge advice, I would stick to the first level. It has the best music, Jazz, and relaxed atmosphere. While we were on the second level, it felt COMPLETELY different. Music was a bit vulgar for my taste. The dancing was shockingly sexual. So needless to say not my scene once it gets busy. Although, to go back to the first level of this establishment, it was fun and the people were cordial and friendly. I would most certainly come here again, but not venture upstairs. I had a fun time.

Cool club. There's a hookah lounge, bar, and pool tables downstairs. They also sing karaoke downstairs. Upstairs there's a dj and a club.

The dance floor was really cool, it was on the second floor. The DJ's played mostly rap songs and there were a ton of lights and streamers. I feel like had there been a bigger crowd and better drinks, this place could be awesome. The mai tai's that we got were diluted as hell. Barely any fruit juice or alcohol. At $7 a pop, it felt like a total rip-off. That's the main reason I gave this place a 2/5. We left after about an hour of waiting for the dance crowd to show up. Maybe on a different weekend it'll be better. I would try it again, but pregame my alcohol because those mixed drinks were awful. We didn't try the hookah lounge, but there are a ton of flavors for those who do like to smoke them. Also, Friday night is Ladies Night until 11, so we got in for free! I'll try this place again in hopes that I can update this review and have more positive things to say. Update: I've been back to Chicago's many times. The crowds don't get there until at least midnight. I've found that 1am on a Friday or Saturday night is usually pretty busy. Now I just order a well drink, like rum and Coke, for $5 each instead of the underwhelming/expensive girly drinks. The dancing is a lot of fun when the place is busy, so I'm editing my review but leaving my old comments so readers can see both perspectives.

They're assholes! The entry charge is $7 and I Gabe them a $1 tip, but they took it apon themselves to take $3 instead. Just be careful with that.
