Lilah's Bakery - Shreveport

I think when it comes to king cake, everyone has their own opinion about what makes a great king cake. We prefer filing in our King Cakes, like cream cheese or Bavarian cream. I lived in Shreveport for over 20 years and never had a king cake from Lilah's. We moved away a few years ago and found a Lilah's king cake at a local market near us. It was very fresh and we loved it. We ordered a Christmas King Cake online and it was delivered the next day after it was shipped. Again, freshly made and delicious!

Disappointment is what we got instead of a promising king cake. Picked up a cinnamon/sugar cake from the Centenary location to take back home. Once we cut into it there was no filling. We cut some more, no filling. it wasn't until we go to the other side that we found the filling and there wasn’t much there. I sent a message to them on FB to which they quickly replied apologizing and offered to replace it if we brought it back. Unfortunately we do not live close by so that wasn't an option. The cake was good and fresh but not worth what I paid. I will stick with Keller's or Meche's.

These King Cakes are GOOD! The Vegan Bavarian Cream one I 'm eating currently is fantastic and don 't have none of that off taste you might get sometimes with vegan versions of things.

Thr worst King cake I have ever had....dry....no filling. Went in the trash. Should of brought up there ans asked for my $30 back. I posted about it on my Facebook and About 15 of my friends commented they had the same thing this year and last year with a lilahs king cake so yeah I'm not going back. I posted a review on their Facebook page too a week ago and they have ignored me so far

Ordered a king cake to be shipped 2 day delivery to Georgia. The cake still has not arrived. Today is the 6th day, and I was told by Lilah's shipping department the cake is good for approximately one week. An employee in shipping said they have been having issues with getting shipped orders delivered on time. If that is the case, then they need to post that on their order page. Very disappointed as this was a special occasion.
