Ramirez Mexican - Shreveport

I was told by several people that this is the Mexican place to eat in the city. it wasn't my favorite. the restaurant is nice and clean and we did not have to wait for a table and the service was sufficient. the salsa is salty and a little spicy and the chips could use some of these additional salt from the salsa. that food came out quickly. the wobbles and paprika in my meal were underboiled and the garnels were way overcooked it was like moss! the other meat in the meal was good. but again there was too much salt. on the crazy rice deluxe there is not enough queso. other restaurants supplement their similar dishes. I will probably give this one pass, as it is only average when it comes to the Mexican kitchen.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always been very pleased with the food and service. However, our experience today was just okay. The dish we ordered is one we have enjoyed many times before, but this time it was not up to par. The portion was smaller than usual and lacked the quality we have come to expect. If this is a sign of declining standards, we may not be the only customers to stop coming back. Additionally, the staff seemed more focused on their phones and chatting amongst themselves rather than attending to the customers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning. Very sad.

The food at this restaurant was outstanding, on par with the best Tex-Mex in Texas - and I am from Texas myself. The margaritas were also exceptional and reasonably priced. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant surprise as we had been away from Texas for a while and had missed our favorite cuisine.

The chips and salsa here are incredibly fresh and delicious. The customer service is great, fast, and friendly. A visit to this restaurant is a must when visiting the casinos. It was definitely the best decision we made. The prices are very reasonable and the authentic flavors are on point.

We were traveling through the area and decided to go here because of how well it was rated, and I’m so glad we did! I was a bit skeptical when we first pulled up because they are located in an older strip mall that looks rough on the outside, but the inside was nice and clean. And the food was AMAZING!! Highly recommend!
